Abstract
Montmorillonite yapısında olan kilin ısısai dehidrasyon kinetiği incelenmiştir. Kinetik parametreleri tayin etmek için Freeman Carroll eşitliği kullanılarak E. Segal ve F. Datu tarafından türetilen basit yöntem kullanılmıştır. Aktivasyon enerjisi ve reaksiyon mertebesi sırası ile 64.517 = 1.409 Kcal mol-1 ve 1.1 olarak bulunmuştur.
The thermal dehydration kinetic of clay having a montmorillonite constitution has been investigated. In order to determine kinetic parameters the simple method derived by E. Segal and D. Fatu using Freeman - Carroll equation, has been used. The activation energy and reaction order were found to be 64.517 = 1.903 kcal mol-1 and 1.1 respectively.
