Abstract
Nükleer olmayan belirli teknolojilerin uygulanması, çevrenin doğal radyasyonunun teknolojik olarak genişlemesi yüzünden halk kadar, o endüstrinin işçilerinin de radyasyon yüklerinde artma sonucunu doğurur. Makalede, hava yolculuğu, doğal gazların, benzinin ve kömürün yakıt olarak kullanılması, gübre ve çimento üretimi, fosfat, demir, alüminyum ve uranyum endüstrilerinin endüstriyel artıklarının yeniden işlenmesi gibi çeşitli radyasyon kaynaklarının insanlar ve çevre üzerindeki etkisi İncelenmektedir. Uluslararası veriler incelenerek bu yapay ve doğal kaynakların radyasyon ışınlamaları karşılaştırılmaktadır.
The application of certain non - nuclear technologies can result in an Increase of the radiation burden of both workers in the specific industry as well as the general public due to a technological enhancement of the natural radiation environment. The paper discusses the impact on man and the environment from several radiation sources such as : air travel; use of natural gas, gasoline and coal as fuel; fertilizer — and cement— production; recycling of industrial wastes from phosphate, Iron, aluminium and uranium industry. A review of international data compares the radiation exposure from these man-made and natural sources.
