Abstract
Bu çalışmada 4 cm çapında 7 cm uzunluğunda demir, alüminyum ve lucite ortamlarında Cu, Al ve İn dedektörlerinin aynı izafiyetteki aktifi ik- lerinin r ve z’ye bağlı değişimleri elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu değişimlerden ve dedektörlerin enerjiye bağlı tesir kesit değişimlerinden, 14-12.9 MeV, 12.9-6.0 MeV, 6.0-1.65 MeV ve termik nötron enerji intervallerinde enerjiye sahip nötronların, yine r ve z’ye bağlı akı değişimleri elde edilmiştir, r yönündeki akı dağılımları her enerji intervali için kosinüs fonksiyonu olarak bulunmuş fakat z yönünde, akı dağılımları termik enerji için kosinüs fonksiyonuna uymasına rağmen diğer enerji interval I er i için iki exponansiyel fonksiyonu toplamına uygun bulunmuştur.
The induced activity variations of Cu, Ai and In detectors located in r and z directions of small samples of iron, aluminium and lucite having the size of 4 cm. in diameter and 7 cm. in length were measured. On the basis of these activity measurements and the excitation functions of threshold detectors, the relative neutron flux distribution for the energy intervals of 14-12.9 MeV, 12.9-6.0 MeV, 6.0-1.65 MeV and for thermal region was obtained. The semiempirical relationships were derived in this work for the neutron flux distribution in r and z directions. Flux distribution in r direction is found to be represented by cosine function for all energies, but the one in z direction by the sum of two exponential functions for energies other than thermal energy and also by cosine function for thermal energy.
