Abstract
14.1 MeV’lik nötronların su içinde 0.18 eV'a en muhtemel yavaşlama zamanı, nötronların ortama püskürmesini takiben kadmiyum - yakalama- gamalarının zamana bağlı sayım hızlarından elde edilmiştir. Suda, kadmiyum rezonans enerjisi 0.18 eV'a en muhtemel yavaşlama zamanı 2.50 ± 0.25 mikro saniye bulunmuştur.
The most probable slowing down time of 14.1 MeV neutrons to 0.18 eV in water were obtained from measurement of cadmium capture - gamma - ray counting rates as a function of time after injection of a neutron burst. The most probable slowing down time to the 0.18 eV resonance in cadmium was obtained 2.50 ± 0.25 µsec for water.
