Abstract
Bu çalışmada özel yağ-su soğutmalı, ortası oyuk silindir biçiminde 7 ayrı bobinden oluşan doğrusal bir dc elektro-mıknatıs sistemi tanıtılmaktadır. Magnetik alan yoğunluğu 170 Gauss/A olup eldeki güç kaynağı (40 Vdc - 500 A) ile erişilen en yüksek alan şiddeti yaklaşık 3 kG'dır. Bobinler 2 cm. aralıklarla yerleştirildiğinde, 80 cm uzunluğundaki bir bölgede elde edilen eksenel alan düzgünlüğü ± 4 %'den daha iyidir.
A linear dc electro-magnet system is described which consists of 7 discrete pancake type coils (bore dia. 10 cm) with special oil-water cooling. The intensity of magnetic field is 170 Gauss/A and the max. field strength achieved with the available power supply (40 Vdc - 500 A) is about 3 kG. The axial field homogeneity over a long distance (80 cm) is better than ±4 % when the gap between the discrete coils is 2 cm.
