Abstract
Çeşitli radyoaktif kaynaklardan neşredilen radyasyonun madde içinden geçerken soğrulması esasına dayalı olarak sigara yoğunluğunu tayin edebilen ve bir standarta göre mukayese yapabilen bir sistem geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen sistemde uygun kaynak yardımıyla ve bir gramlık standart sigaraya göre numune sigara yoğunluğunu ± % 9'luk hata sınırları içinde tesbit etmek mümkündür.
A system is developed to determine the density of tobacco, and it can also be used to compare the cigarettes with a standard. The system is based on the attenuation of the radiation in matter. Csl37 and Sr90 are used as the radiation sources. Using the present system it is possible to measure the densities with a 9 $ relative error compared to one-gram standard tobacco by using an appropriate source.
