There has been studied the effect of electron irradiation on photoelectrical and optical properties of Pb1-x Mnx Te (0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.05) epitaxial films containing 0.5÷1 at, % of gallium with thickness 1÷5mcm, obtained by the method of molecular beams condensation on substrates BaF2 (III).

At modern stage of scientific and technological revolution special emphasis is placed on the advancement of
those fields of science the achievements of which define the wide prospect of technological development.
These fields of science include semiconductor physics, one of the main tasks is search, study and
modification of crystal properties with high values of applied-physics characteristics in order to develop new
materials promising different technological applications.
